I Wish You Were A Stranger I Could Disengage
[+] TV kind of punched me in the face this week. Arrow, Grey's Anatomy and Scandal...like that was a real triple bitchslap. (Come talk to me about it?)

[+] I've finished the first season of The Vampire Diaries in my Nina Dobrev Memorial Rewatch. I definitely have different feelings on Damon this time around. I am a huge ball of emotions over Elena/Stefan, all over again (especially with how many Beth/Daryl parallels I'm seeing...which I will see everywhere, all the time...I'm hopeless).
And I want to cry, all over again, for what Bonnie and Damon could have been. I vomited a bunch of feelings to badboy_fangirl (who is sharing this roadtrip of tears with me). I had remembered Damon talking to 'Elena'/Katherine on the porch, and he was like, "Goodness is reserved for my brother...and you...and Bonnie..." And I was like SHE'S NOT EVEN IN THIS SCENE THEY WEREN'T EVEN TALKING ABOUT HER, SHE IS HIS FUCKING DESTINY I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS TRIANGLE TO BE OVER SO WE CAN GET TO BAMON STUFF. (I knew they were canon- endgame?- in the books, so I was hanging on to that hope for a long time.)
But I forgot about so much other stuff. I forgot how he was like Thank you for saving my life. I forgot about how her last scene for the season was her talking to Stefan- Damon HAS to change. Does anyone know...were they ever *sort of* planned? Has JP ever addressed it? I know that sometimes writers change course based on fan demand (Veronica Mars) or actor chemistry (Arrow, Felicity/Oliver)...though I don't think ANYONE would dispute that Ian and Kat cackled with chemistry.
[+] Still thinking about het-bigbang. I'm sure I'm going to sign up, I can't resist those things, I just need to make sure I *do it*. It's obviously going to be Beth/Daryl, I just need to figure out *what*. I feel like that SingleDad!Daryl has the most story in me, but I feel like that's just going to write me into a corner with Plot-Plot-Plot, and for some reason, I just feel like I need to start with the words Beth opened her eyes and go from there.
And also, no matter what, as soon as I see the words 'Big Bang', anywhere, my mind immediately screams KRISTINA DAVIS!
