If You Stay Positive, You Have A Shot At A Silver Lining

Does anyone else DESPISE the new photobucket format?

Anyway. I just got back from Silver Linings Playbook, and I definitely love it as much, if not more than I thought I would...

This movie is so greaaaaaaat. It was one of those really annoying theatre situations, where you go to the 12:20 pm show, because you think you'll basically have the theatre to yourself, and then at 12:25, in the middle of the previews, the audience fills up so there are people on all sides of you, and in front of you so you can't put your feet up. ANNOYING.

Anyway! That's funny, because it's all a very Pat thing to say. Let's talk about Pat (Bradley Cooper)! He was wonderful in this role, even if it's a tad unbelievable for me to believe that his wife was cheating on him because she wasn't attracted to him. (?) Brad and Jen had AMAZING chemistry. I mean, let's be serious, I've been shipping them in real life since this trailer came out, and I knew that I would ship their characters hard core. And I do. In fact, I would say that Pat and Tiffany (Jennifer Lawrence), are probably going to go down as one of my bulletproof movie OTP's.

There's lots of great stuff in here about family, and living through pain, and unconditional love of parents and stuff like that, and hello(!) ballroom dancing(!), but Pat and Tiffany kiss twice in the end of the movie and I basically had to clamp my hand over my mouth to not scream out loud. And then in the *very* end of the movie, she crawls into his lap and they make out, and I NEED EVERYBODY TO WRITE ME FIC OF THAT AND THE REST OF THEIR LIVES.

In conclusion, everyone PLEASE go see this movie this weekend and then get in here and let's talk about it.
