It's just been a fic dump kind of day. Here are the responses to the commentathon I did Friday night (still happy to take requests, by the way).

Sorry I'm way behind here, but I wanted to say thank you for doing both of mine! You are awesome!

And he wanted more- more than what he had (though everything she wanted...he didn’t know if he had that in him). This is so beautiful, and I think is the heart of why they didn't work out, at least on his end. I kinda like the idea you present that he sees it as her version of an apology, but I'm not sure it is. I think it's the explanation after the anger and the bitter fades away, and the acknowledgement that she's never stopped loving him. I still see hope for them eventually, once they both finish growing up.

The cafe scene is wonderful, him parking her car and everything. I love how she's all "WTF?!" but finds herself wanting to believe, that something about him has drawing her in so much already. You did a great job here with this! I must admit, after I left the prompt and that lyric was still running around in my head, I kept seeing that pic that Val tweeted of the two of them having lunch and imagining that, however, I love the direction you went, because it's something I never would've expected.

I'll be back to talk "Red" later; I've been three places and they were all out, so I'm waiting for it to be shipped. This freaking sucks!

I think 'explanation' is probably a better word for it, because you're right, she probably wouldn't apologize for feeling the way she did.
