Where Are You Going?
Let me just say, regarding The Vampire Diaries, that I will probably at least watch the rest of this season and see if the show can rebalance itself.
Okay, now that that's out of the way...
MARK SCHWANN, WHAT THE ABSOLUTE FUCK???
I think I've said this in every recap I've posted this season. It's not that I'm not *enjoying* the show...but what the fuck is this show? OTH has NEVER been a Sylvester Stallone movie (and you know how I feel about that).
Although I get why Julian has the principle of wanting to stand up for justice in general...seriously? That's the call you get from your wife who is being STALKED and you stay on the Murder Compound, just hanging out until you're needed?
Tara. She has been a totally useless character this season. Whatever, I'm glad for what she did, but it didn't need to be her.
I was really TOTALLY terrified that Xavier was going to rape Brooke. At that point, I really thought that Schwann thought he would be, like, pulling out all the stops for the final episodes. THANK GOD FOR A FUCKING MODICUM OF DECENCY.
Quinn and Clay. Like, I know that this is a really huge deal and everything, trying to figure out how to fix the CHILD YOU FORGOT YOU HAD, but like, tonight? The hours away drive to the cemetery? People kind of need you guys at home, and iirc, the hospital Logan is staying at is in Tree Hill too.
I am fairly certain that Dan will die next week. I've thought that for a while, as the next episode is titled Danny Boy. As much as I think Paul Johansson has done a phenomenal job over the course of the series, I do feel like it's a fitting finale, with Nathan's forgiveness.
Okay. Just breathe. At least we'll have Naley back next week.
