Back with another round of that super fun icon meme, asked by torigates, empressearwig and waltzmatildah...
Young And Wild And Free by jatelove. Raise your hand if you *didn't* get misty-eyed at this very important scene in the finale, after all Matt and Julie had been through, together and apart. The lyric is from Heaven, that gorgeous cover by Brandi Carlile.
And It's One More Night In Hollywood by epic_love. I went through a little phase of madly shipping Jason Segel and Kristen Bell earlier this year, mainly due to this interview. The lyric is from A Long December by Counting Crow. I had this idea for a fic for them that...never went anywhere. Being saved for a rainy day.
And When I Die by sietepecados. The title of the icon is the title of one of the episodes of of True Blood this summer, and I just love this very vulnerable look on Jessica's face, while she's all dolled up and vamped out at the same time.
A Drop In The Ocean by darkpalace. The song was used on that first scene 'between' Elena and Stefan this season and that scene just gutted me. Look at this image now, that seemed so innocent at the time, and where it has taken us.
Tale As Old As Time by mizzybox. I liked using a fairy tale lyric for Dan and Blair because her fairy tale is really being tipped on its head, isn't it? Also, I love their eyes here, well his anyway. She's resting, eyes closed, totally at peace, and he's kind of contemplating...the meaning of life. As he does. As usual.
I Have Grown Too Strong by alexia_drake. I picked up this icon in a batch of Hermione/Draco icons, so it was probably intended with that shippy slant, but I really liked that quote for Hermione. There was really so much Hermione gave up while she was on the hunt for horcruxes with Harry (say it five times fast)- her parents (and pretty much her childhood along with it), her first love, her education (which we all knew was quite dear to her)...And I think she kept telling herself it didn't matter, that it was for the greater good to tamp down the hurt.
You Were Born To Play That Part by dragonday. She made me this originally for a fanmix cover, and I loved it so much, I had to use it as an icon. The title is from Elizabeth, You Were Born To Play That Part by Ryan Adams, which I always thought was so very eerily Ric's point of view on Elizabeth.
Tomorrow Blues by beanon. The title was the season 3 finale, and really such a strong image for the show. But that was Tami and Eric for you, they might not know what the future held, but they always faced it together.
Unholy Trinity by kimbo_smarties. Does it really need any explanation? These three had one of the best dynamics I'd seen on the show in forever. And it's gone now.
WSB by everycurve. And taking it back in the day with GH. I loved this image of Kim, Fin, Tristan and Ian, all a little older and wiser, but doesn't that just look like a Christmas card?
miss julie taylor by hope27. This is probably one of my all time favorite icons. This image of Julie will always be my muse.
Sookie by truebloodv3. Self-explanatory as well. This is a handy icon for any non-specific supernatural fandom, when I don't have anything good and specific to use.

Dragon Queen by krimson. Well...she is. But not here. Here she was a captive princess. I love this shot of the back of her head, her white, white hair. It's just a really pretty icon.
