Stealing a meme from abvj because I need a good meme:

Ask me about a pairing and/or character I have written (or haven't and you think I should write) and I will give you five facts about them. OR a ficlet or a song that is CLEARLY THEIR SONG or what they order from the Chinese place down the street or what they do on a lazy Saturday night, etc etc. ( Read more... )

I'm going to be in Europe in May too! I'm also trying to get in shape for the trip. I'm currently working out like 6 days a week. I know, I'm crazy, but I can't help it. I'm being lazy and not going tonight, though. I'll be making up for it by working out on Saturday. Do you like to cook? I've been gathering a lot of recipes and cooking lately, trying to keep from eating too much unhealthy food. I can give you a few recipes if you'd like.

Look at you! That's right, you're gearing up for Paris!

Oh, I love to cook. And I love 'real', good food and stuff, that's not the problem. It's getting my ass off the couch. I need to motivate to MOTOR.

Well, the exercise classes have really helped me. Even when my hair is soaked because I've sweat so much, and my muscles are killing me, being surrounded by 30 (mostly) women, while really great music is playing, makes me push myself harder. They say it takes 30 days to form a habit, so if you can just force yourself to stick with it for that long, it should just become second nature...hopefully. I'm never gonna be a girl that runs on the treadmill, nor will I ever enjoy it, but I do love the exercise classes.

I'm from the South, so I love all kinds of foods I shouldn't. I love healthy food; I'm a vegetable whore, but I love Southern food more than anything...and Cracker Barrel so does not count...lol.

Oh, I do not mean to make it sound like I'm a vegan or anything. I'm Italian, so...yeah. Definitely not afraid of carbs.

Yeah, I was *super* in shape and into working out two years ago, and then it just all...fell out, I guess. I was looking at pictures of myself from 2008- so depressing. Yoga was my thing. And I was going twice a day, and loving it, but I don't think I'd like Zumba, or dance classes. I'm way uncoordinated, and I think I'd get frustrated more than anything.

Yeah, I figured you liked some unhealthy foods. I mainly try to straddle the line. People think I'm a lot healthier than I really am, though...lol. I don't eat red meat and I don't drink sodas. I have a protein bar or protein shake for breakfast every morning and I count the crap out of my calories since I'm trying to get in better shape.

I'm just now getting into Yoga. I'm taking a class that is a mixture of Tai Chi, Pilates, and Yoga, and dear god It kicks my ass. I hear a lot of people say that Zumba would frustrate them, and I can understand why. I think the only reason I'm so in love with it and find it so easy is because my mom had me in dance when I was 4. So, all I really need is a beat and someone in front of me and I can figure it out. I'm odd like that.
