More advent fics! Will be back with more later on...
Day 23, for
summerstorm:
Meg actually misses Veronica a whole lot more than she misses Duncan.
Really, Duncan wasn’t a whole lot different than Cole. And she might have loved Cole more- she definitely laughed with him more. Duncan was always closed off to her, that last little bit of him (she of course figured out why the night of Logan’s party). And well, considering he was still in love with Veronica...she couldn’t really blame him.
She’d never really been able to call Veronica one of her best friends- she always had Pam and Shelley and Veronica always had Lilly. (And Meg and Lilly sat at decidedly opposite ends of the lunch table, so to speak.) But when Veronica lost Lilly...
Well, that really changed everything for everyone. And while it was a terrible tragedy that nobody will ever understand...Meg really misses the few times when she got to partner-in-crime with Veronica Mars. She misses the random texts (Meet me in 25 minutes at the sixth pier of Dog Beach. Bring your cheerleading uniform.), the way life picked up and was exciting around her for a little while.
It’s too bad. Veronica Mars would probably be a good friend to have around now.

And Day 24, for
xlivvielockex:
*Sorry, I couldn't resist with the prompt ;)
Angel had been trying to pour through the very limited resources they had on Hor Kuk demons, but he kept getting distracted by Cordy’s wild giggle fits. Her laugh sure was cute.
“Cordy, what are you looking at?”
She was wiping tears away from the corner of her eye, and putting a hand over her chest to calm her breathing. What could possibly be so funny with Hor Kuk demons on the loose? She got up from the couch, carrying a thick black hardcover, with a picture of pale hands holding a red apple on the front. “It’s this book, a girl in my acting class recommended it, she said she couldn’t put it down.”
Angel flipped over the dustjacket on the cover reading the quick synopsis. About three things I was absolutely positive. First Edward was a vampire... He looked back at Cordy. “Is this book serious?”
“Yes!” She was still laughing, still smiling. “Well, I mean, it’s not really serious, but people are taking it seriously. You should see what happens when he goes into the sun...”
“What, it’s not...”
“Sparkles! Like a disco ball!”
