The thing I hate about writing original fiction? Naming characters. SO much.
I got an idea for NaNo last night, and I don’t know if it’s going to happen, but right now, it involves a pretty wide cast of characters, all of who (as of now) only have faces and not names. These are all actors, not necessarily who I think would ‘play’ these characters by some weird twist of fate, but maybe a rough idea of what they would look like, and I’ve fudged around with everyone’s ages as far as ‘characters’ go, and they’re all kind of ‘optional’ at this very rough stage too. Some of these people share a similar look, I’m toying around with the idea of making a few of these people related (i.e., there might be more than one family in this mix).
Does any of this make sense? (Probably NONE of these people will be a shock to the system for you.)
Help me out? If anything springs to mind, let me know? Right now, the only things I can think of are like, names of characters that they’ve already played. Which is just gross.
*Hush, this is not a surprise
