Help?

So...bought a MacBook on Saturday, fell in love with it immediately. Now...it seems my charger is broken? It won't light up, I've tried it in a couple of different outlets. Um...is it broken or did I do something wrong?

Barring life problems, might post my first schmoop_bingo today!
