Sidenote, I’ve become inappropriately obsessed with some music and actor fandoms lately. I’m going to leave those ‘characters’ off for now, even though that’s what’s kind of eating my brain these days. As always, totally made up UC couples and crossovers are constantly eating my brain, so expect this to be chock full of them.

#14. Julie Taylor/Jacob Black (or maybe Santiago-as-a-werewolf…because I just don’t know if I can justify RPF-ing Aimee Teegarden with Taylor Lautner)
1. Why do you dislike #11 so much? (Meredith/Derek)
-Very rarely do I like the couple that you’re presented with on the first page, first scene and are told to like. But these two (admittedly, have not been so bad this season) really kind of put each other through the ringer, and it didn’t seem worth it, especially when she fell so hard for this guy who really wasn’t so nice to her.
2. Who do you know that ships #13? (Matt/Lucy)
-LOL, empressearwig.
3. What would be your ideal scenario for couple #3? (Veronica/Duncan)
-If the movie had been made, I would have wanted it to be something like Duncan getting a message to Veronica that he wanted (needed) to come home (to her) and she helped him get his name cleared and work to make sure that the Mannings could never take Lilly away from him.
4. What is your favorite moment for #1? (Julie/Santiago)
-There is a canon moment and I found it! I used to think that the closest thing to a canon moment was Santiago at Gracie Belle’s christening, which wasn’t really a moment so much as them just being in the same room at the same time, but when Tami is talking to Santiago in her office, and realizing that Santiago’s uncle took off, and the kid was on his own, there’s this shot that’s tight on Santiago’s face and then it cuts to Julie’s picture on Tami’s desk, like he got caught staring at this pretty girl who was so obviously different than him.
5. How long have you been following couple #6? (Draco/Hermione)
-Mmm, I’d say since Chamber of Secrets? So since about early December for me? Which is, I guess, not very long in the scheme of things, but I fell hard and fast for them.
6. What's the story with #8? What made you stop caring? (Buffy/Riley)
-These fandoms, like BtVS and HP, that I consumed all at one whack were like a whirlwind to me. At the time I was watching seasons 4 and 5 of Buffy, I was *thrilling* to B/R, their kisses, his quiet dignity and love for her, how happy she was with him (whole), and I wept when he left and adored their re-connection in season 6, but now when I look back at BtVS, it’s other ships that I search for (namely Angel/Cordelia).
7. Which ship do you prefer--#2 or #4? (Mark/Lexie)
-Probably Mark/Lexie, because I just know more of them at this point. It’s really hard to find anything on E/R. But they’re definitely my favorite vamp couple, and maybe my favorite couple of that series.
8. You have the power to make one ship non-existent. Choose from #10 or #12. (Dan/Serena)
-I choose them because, without Bella and Edward, it kind of wipes out the whole fandom. GG has proved that it gets along very well without D/S.
9. What interests you about #14? (Julie/Jacob)
-I’m on drugs? Seriously, I just ship Julie with everyone, and I’m totally fascinated by the 6’7” massive teenage boy werewolf who is way too cool for Bella Swan.
10. When did you stop liking #7? (Ryan/Summer)
-I still love *the idea* of them, but I think it was somewhere in the beginning/middle of season 2 that Josh Schwartz kind of stated that Seth/Summer and Ryan/Marissa were set in stone, so it kind of got pointless to wait and hope.
11. Did your waning interest in #9 kill your interest in the series? (Shannon/Sayid)
-My interest in them didn’t wane, but yeah, *killing* Shannon killed my interest in the series.
12. What's a song that reminds you of #1? (Julie/Santiago)
-Well, I did a whole fanmix for them and my songs for them are always changing, but the biggest one of all time would probably be “Blue Eyes” by Carey Brothers (even though I have come to realize that Aimee Teegarden’s eyes, are, in fact, brown). You’re the secret I keep, you’re destiny’s scene…
13. Which of these ships do you love the most right now?
-It’s probably pretty close between Julie/Santiago and Veronica/Duncan, but J/S edges them out just a little. I mean, I sort of ‘created’ them.
14. Which do you dislike the most?
-Um…Meredith/Derek and Bella/Edward are probably pretty close. Bella/Edward in the book would definitely win out.
15. If you could have any of these pairings double date, who would they be?
-Nathan and Haley would probably be gracious dinner hosts to any of these people but I think they’d have the most fun with Veronica and Duncan. They’re the same age, and they have a lot in common.
16. Have #2 kissed yet? Elaborate if yes. (Mark/Lexie)
-Yes, and it was hot. It’s been consistently hot.
17. Did #4 have a happy ending? Do you think one is likely? (Emmett/Rosalie)
-From what I hear about Breaking Dawn, they have quite a happy ending. (There was never really a doubt.)
18. What would make you start shipping #14? (Julie/Jacob)
-Um, anything? Seriously, f-list, if you want to write it, I’ll read it. If I can get off my duff and write it myself, all the better.
19. If only one could happen, which would you prefer--#2 or #6?
-Hmmm…Tough. While, I would have been delighted by Draco/Hermione, I would hate to take away the adorable, sexy joy that is Mark/Lexie. The thing is, since so many of my couples are so off-the-wall, it doesn’t really bother me if they don’t get together in canon. There are so many delicious fanfic possibilities.
20. You have the power to decide the fate of #10. What happens to them? (Dan/Serena)
-I’m happy with them being friends for life. Maybe not BFF’s, because he’s kind of socially inept, and she already has her Non-Judging Breakfast Club, so she doesn’t really need him, but I think they’re good listeners to each other, and they honestly care about each other. When they start acting like they are some epic kind of Romeo & Juliet however, that’s when my gag reflex starts up again.
