Good Lord, I love Mondays....

What a fabulous night of television....

Sigh. And now I get to recap while taking in a little The Hills, maybe I'll finish up those fics later on....

To get the boring parts out of the way first, let's start in backwards order.

I. Do. Not. Like. Vanessa. BUT I felt for her tonight, and I guess Chace just looks pretty with everyone.

Watching Jenny grovel was awesome.

I couldn't help chuckling at the meta-ness of the Serena/Dan storyline, the teenyboppers stopping them in the park to pick apart their lives, and what did Rufus say? "Is he still reading those Dan/Serena threads?" HIGH-larious. But what it all came down to, is that Serena and Dan have *nothing* in common, except they really like having sex with each other.

Speaking of which....

"Have sex with me." OMFG, did you fucking SHIVER or what? How filthy, how hot was that whole scene? I am so, SO invested in this Chuck/Blair/Marcus triangle. I love Marcus, for all he's worth (I know he won't be endgame, but I'm going to enjoy this ride.) Even if it lasts two, three seasons. But dear lord, I know it's been done before, this kind of antagonistic relationship, with the Push/Pull, but I've said it before and I'll say it again, Ed and Leighton have something *mighty* special. And I, for one, would love another reason to hear Ed's proper accent again.

Jeez, I just had to watch it on youtube again (what *was* life before youtube?) I need another shower. Leighton's eyes rolling back in her head when Ed whispers in her ear? Fucking porn.

And I just realized I mostly call them 'Ed and Leighton' instead of 'Chuck and Blair'. Don't know what that's all about....

Man, but that show can make me cry and cry and cry on the couch. From beginning of the episode until the end, that was like Dawson's Creek finale kind of tears. Okay, let's try to recap. There was so much in this episode, but I'll try to cover it all.

Brooke and Peyton, my couple is back together. Yeah, Brooke had to be the one to fix it, but it was very seemless. And I really liked what Peyton said to her, "Don't let the bitter ones make you forget how awesome you are." (Can't remember exactly.)

The Naley family loveliness was just gorgeous, as per usual. Haley and Nathan talking to Jamie about death, you really were reminded how young they are on this show (hell, there supposed to be a whole lot younger than me, even, now). Jamie was so, so heartbreaking. "I was making him a cape." And then laying it over the coffin, in the end, it was like he was conquering Nathan's fears for him. BJL did a great job in general in this episode, but, she pulled through in natural Haley James Scott fashion, and I'm very intrigued as to what is going to happen with Sam. I think she might have had something to do with the attack on Brooke, even if she was just supposed to be casing the store for whoever the real attacker was. And I really liked the Brooke/Nathan scene, this show really does do such a great job with cultivating relationships between each of the characters, in every permutation.

Which brings me back to Brooke again...I'm really getting the feeling that she was raped. When she was rattling off her stats, she mentioned rape three times.
