Recuperating from surgery. Moms and Pops are going forward with the barbecue that they planned for this evening, which, thankfully I don't have to participate in. I'm holed up in the guest room, with season 1 of Friday Night Lights and Twilight and without the good tv, so I'm getting a little bored.

Okay, I was being kind in my last entry.
WTF, Stephenie Meyer? I'm convinced that Stephenie is actually publishing these books for her twelve-year-old neice or something, and the neice's friends are the daughters of her agent and publisher and editor because I honestly don't see how any of this came from an adult. Even the things that Bella wants from Edward (a date, eating together in the cafeteria for goodness sakes) are the things that a seventh-grader would want from a boyfriend.
And this dialogue! "I love you so much....You're so perfect....You're breath-taking....You're amazing...."
