this is excerpted from an e-mail my Uncle sent me.. after reading my LJ. Whee.. I thought these things to be particularly wise and trew.. maybe because I agree, and we all know how wise and trew I am

funny thing is.. I hardly know him. I have not seen him since I was a kid... and recently (the day before x-mas) he randomly wrote me an e-mail.. outta da bleu. but, so far, quite awesome.

Funny how wisdom can come from just about anywhere in our lives, eh? I love how your uncle still maintains contact with you even though you don't get to see him all that often (at least he cares enough to read what's going on in your life & stuff, eh?)

Totally rockin' words of advice from (obviously) a wise man. Thanks to him & you for sharing.

funny thing, I have not seen or heard from him since I was maybe 6 or 7.. we get x-mas and birhtday cards/gifts.. but have not spoken or anything. he got my e-mail address from my gramma recently, when I left my card with her. this is the first time in years... but, s'all good.. I am looking forward to getting to see him maybe. he only lives like an hour from me, and I drive now. not so much when I was 6 or 7.... haha
