The figure skating competition this weekend was pretty awesome. My mom and I had a really good time. We had amazing seats and the competition itself was cool to watch in person but the "half-time show" was unbelievable. They had twelve American gold-medal figure skaters there, among them: Peggy Fleming, Dorothy Hammil, Scott Hamilton, Brian Boitano, Kristi Yamagouchi, Tara Lipinski, and Sarah Hughes. Later that night, I got to see
Brian Boitano and Katarina Witt. Pure awesomeness.
Today was kinda weird. I get online and check away messages and nearly everyone's says something about being back in class. I'm getting emails from clubs I belonged to as well as from the university. I had a dream the other night about being back in my dorm room and having an argument with my suitemates. It's weird knowing that life is continuing on as normal back in Kirksville and I'm not a part of it. I feel like I'm missing out on something but I know I'm not. I loved college but I don't want to be back there right now.
I'm sick of being unemployed. I want a job.
