Blizzard have optional authenticators for their games, mainly WoW and Starcraft 2 I believe.

They generate a 6 digit code (based on time of generation) which they then decrypt their end with the info they have on that specific authenticator.

Its based on the same Tech the US government use for some of their stuff. Its pretty nifty actually.

you can have multiple wow accounts on a single battle.net ID, and a believe you can attach an authenticator to multiple accounts.

RSA token to access any Blizzard game utilizing the newest version of Battle.net, i.e. (at the moment) World of Warcraft and Starcraft II.

Yes, my WoW account is now more secure than my online banking...

Though Blizzards proof of Identification policies in the case of Authenticator Failure, and possibly loss, are questionable.

up to and including sending a scan of your passport to prove who you are before they'll remove an authenticator from your account.

My online banking is more secure. barclays require me to have my card and my pin and a card reader to logon... overkill muchly
