Came back from Melbourne late on Thursday - flight came complete with screaming baby :(
So we watched Pysch on my mp3 player and tried to ignore it.
Melbourne was fantastic, but so many people smoked over there!

We visited markets in St Kilda with Amanda's friend Tom, went shopping with Eden at Melbourne Central and generally had fun exploring the citiy.
All in all, a fantastic holiday :D
We went skiing in Mt Buller - if anyone is thinking of going skiing during a holiday, for the love of all things holy and all things not, at least do an overnight trip. We only had about 5 hours on the slope, but spent most of that time making a snowman because the slopes were overrun with children who kept running into us, or got run into.
Also saw fairy penguins on Philip Island - may have seen more except some German tourists were talking and laughing quite loudly. This scared them so they ran under the boardwalk and we missed seeing some of them :(
But the ones we saw were really, really, cute :3
Went to Em and Jeff's engagement party and played Balderdash with Jess and other people :)
Couldn't stay very late because I live so far away, but it was a great party. Thanks for the invitation!
And now a question to my more technologically-inclined friends - can someone please help me with some router firewalls?
I had to reformat my laptop due to a virus, and because of this (for some reason) my utorrent program is now being blocked.
I have reconfigured my anti-virus software to allow it, but the download speed on utorrent is still agonisingly slow (about 1k/s)
....and the internet just disconnected itself for no reason D:
The router is fairly old, about 2 1/2 years old.
We got a replacement, a Belkin, but I have been trying for about 2 days to set it up, and connectivity was sparadoc at best - it had been returned by another customer, apparently because it was incompatible with their ISP (WTF?).
So we are returning it tomorrow...maybe we'll get another Netgear modem, it has served us well.
If anyone can help, please let me know, I am quite desperate!
