I had my Legal Process exam yesterday.
The only thing I like about exams is that once it ends, complete strangers shoot sympathetic looks at each other and start comisserating. It was quite difficult, much harder than last year's I got off the uni website. But all I need is a pass and I never have to touch the unit again :D
Next semester will be just Criminal Law, Contract and Torts (hissspit).
A girl from high school who I got on with alright is doing law as well. She emailed me a copy of her awesome Contract notes and promised to do the same with her Torts notes once she found them. This is what I like about uni - people really can change after high school.
...Or they don't. I ran into a girl I did French with and she's also doing law, but she's third year in a five-year double degree. When she found out I was doing law, she said to me "Oh, I never pictured you doing law, Sally!" in the same tone I imagine someone would use if you just confessed to your slightly homophobic friend you liked members of the same sex.
She was infamous for saying highly inappropriate things at the most awkward moments.
But I digress; I have Contract on Tuesday, Criminal Law on Friday and Torts on Monday. Then a few days break and I'm off down south to Busselton for some much needed rest and lounging around with Kathleen and Eden.
I got off my P plates on Friday but I haven't driven anywhere since the beginning of last week :(
I really want to buy some cool party games for my Wii to play on the holidays.
I really want to watch Firefly and Heroes. And House. And the 2007 series of Doctor Who despite really not liking his new Companion.
Oh, and Torchwood.
I really should stop procrastinating.
