Year in Review (meme)

Dec 28, 2006 12:06

I got this meme from my cousin, lucy2905. It's to go back and see what's the first thing you wrote in your first entry of every month. I'll start with January and go forward, and in general I'm going to skip memes.

January 9, 2006 - I start back at the hotel on Wednesday, working Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm.
February 3, 2006 - How to Peel an Onion Quickly will be a featured article on wikiHow.com and the corresponding Google and RSS feed on February 6.
March 9, 2006 - My new position at the hotel is nice in theory, but since one of my new hires quit after a week and one of the other front desk workers was out for a couple of nights this week for a medical procedure, I still ended up having to work the desk a few days this week.
April 1, 2006 - The Boy wrote this as an essay in school last month, and gave it to me today
May 1, 2006 - Maybe I'm too sleep deprived right now, but I keep finding myself thinking about the lyrics to that Kenny Rogers song, "The Gambler".
June 5, 2006 - I'm still staying at the hotel. I wish I had a bit more space, I wish I had a high speed internet connection in the room, and I wish I had a kitchen, but apart from that it's not so bad.
July 1, 2006 - The drywall arrived on Friday and Nikki's dad has already gotten a lot done.
August 5, 2006 - We're back at the house. Apartment still isn't ready (although it's getting close), but we're staying in the spare room upstairs.
September 4, 2006 - So I was on HBO tonight (for like two seconds).
October 16, 2006 - Working overnights sucks. Working at 7am sucks. The only day I like is Friday, because I can sleep in a bit without destroying my evening.
November 9, 2006 - "I have benefited greatly from criticism, and at no time have I suffered a lack thereof." -- Donald Rumsfeld
Decenber 1, 2006 - Today I was offered a position with Carbonite. It's a "work from home" position doing software customer support.
