Damn, Not Again
I don't know what is about the combined energy of certain people that leads to flakiness. I was contacted by an old co-worker about gathering some of the old crew and having dinner. Of course it was fraught with non responses and I can't make it on that date. So, I decide to take the wheel, we agree on a date and I state I'll contact folks with the restaurant details. Anyway, things got busy (imagine that when we all work for a living) and I didn't get around to giving the spot until today (the dinner was tomorrow). Of course there's more I can't make and when I didn't hear from you, I decided to take the day off. Sheer Flakedom! So, other dates are suggested for next month. Well I'll be back east for most of the month.
This is why I don't mess with this crew too much. Love 'em all, but wishy washy ness abounds and what should be pleasurable becomes an exercise in futility.
