A little journal threading post-Order meeting

((Tag to Mac; though Ling, we should thread her and Callum again soon))

Order meetings usually left Lenore feeling less secure than when she'd walked into them and tonight's was no different. She'd managed to act normal but she was glad when it ended. Things didn't seem to be going well. She knew they weren't going well and the increased talk of action made her uneasy. It was bad enough just trying to keep her head down at the Ministry these days. What they expected her to do, she wasn't sure. Lenore certainly didn't intend to put herself out there any farther than she'd been forced to already.

She'd stuck behind to talk to Callum, walking over as soon as things had broken up because he was going to pester and call her on it anyway. She knew her friend would disagree with getting involved, it was part of why she liked him so well. They saw eye to eye on a lot of things. Hell, she disagreed with being there too. Then, Dumbledore had sucked Callum in, so as she saw it he had no leg to stand on today. Maybe later she'd talk to him about it for real- when there wasn't everyone else drifting around and slowly making their way out. If there was anyone Lenore would actually be completely honest with, it was Callum. He had school to be getting back to though and lingering here wasn't Lenore's first choice. No, she'd much rather get away from anything that associated her with this madness.
