It's funny how such a little thing can impact my day so much...actually it's not really funny at all...
I woke up this morning at 7:30. For those of you who don't know I have to leave my house by 7:30 to make it to work on time. Not a huge deal since I worked overtime on Tuesday and I am working over again today anyways. Had the dry heaves this morning for the what ever day it is in a row. I think I am getting pretty used to that.
Went looking through my jewelry box for a specific necklace. I didn't find the necklace but I did find a piece of ribbon tied into a bow. My heart skipped beat and my stomach turned over and turned itself inside out.
Adam and I went to a wedding reception together. He took a piece of ribbon off the wedding favor. He took my left hand and tied the ribbon in a bow around the third finger. I thought it was so sweet that later that night I carefully took it off and sewed it together so it wouldn't come apart. I opened a drawer in my little jewelry box and there it was staring at me, making all the memories come rushing back.
I want that happiness and that love again and I want it from him.
