This reminds me of Invisible Monsters
My coworkers were this morning were discussing the teenage boy who got a DUI. He called up his friend freaking out because he got a DUI and underage consumption and how his parents were going to kill him, etc. That night the boy drove out to the middle of nowhere on his ATV and tried to commit suicide but all he ended up doing was shooting of his face. Now he has to get all the facial reconstruction surgery and they have to take a part of the bone from his leg to recreate his jaw.
Eerily like Invisible Monsters.
Here's the really odd part...after his unsuccessful attempt at suicide he drove his ATV back to his house and went to bed. His parents found him in the morning.
