another inaanak in my list is a pretty-cute baby in the name of Isabella Brianna Suing Honoras and she has Nina and Kim as her proud parents. =)
actually, she is the 4th among Ninang Lenni's list of inaanaks, the first out of the Umali clan, and the first christening attended with a pool of strangers. strangely though is the fact that John Lloyd Cruz followed by Ron Pierre Cruz are two of my new 'kumpares'.. =)
of course i was determined to go to the Baptismal Ceremony because that's what i am for but i was also quite hesitant to go for a fact that i have to face this event all by myself! granting that Kim and Nina were my friends, am pretty sure both of them would be very busy and they wouldnt have much time to entertain me the whole time. the first dilemma i had was that i would probably be out of place since i dont know anyone other than them! second would be on how will i be able to get to the chapel - to the reception - and all the way home! third was the idea that an ex would be gracing the event as one of the ninongs.. it is presumed that he would carry his girlfriend around. duh! i wouldnt want to be such a loser of hitching a ride! though i consider the idea that there's nothing wrong since were friends, i prefer not to as much as possible. it would appear awkward and i wouldnt want a tension either. i really made it a point to let my dad lend me his car just this once! fortunately, my wish was granted and i was saved from having an 'L' on the forehead! ahehe! and to my surprise, an ex's friend was also tugged along as one of the ninongs. AWFULLY GREAT. Kim asked me to sit right next to them! to avoid the invisible oddness, i sat along. the 'former friend' and i exchanged a couple of lines and that's it! i was praying for the ceremony to start and thank goodness i have my fones to back me up! =)
i was in the 'pakapa-kapa' mode not until Ralph, one of the ninongs at my left started a conversation. whew! at last! i had somebody to converse with! then there followed the introduction with the rest of the godfathers&mothers. on with the ceremony. ninong John Lloyd wasnt around yet towards the end. he finally came thereafter only to catch the picture-taking. =)
oops.. its almost 12 and i have to prepare for media noche! id continue this as soon as i can! ciao!
