Area 51, as I'm sure Maggie already told you -is a secret base where new aged military aircrafts are designed and developed. Nothing out of the ordinary there. There are also a large handful of crackpot theories on them being linked to UFO conspiracies. A year ago I would have laughed at that, but with Sectorseven being operational -and well hidden- for over a hundered years, who knows what my government isn't telling us.
The biggest speculations revolving around that is that every project that came out of that faculty (including all the reconnaissance aircrafts, the black-bird family, and that drone project) were based off of captured UFOs that apparently crashed in Nevada in the late 40s.
But what caught my eye in Blackout's report the most, was when he mentioned seeing a flashing, white-blue light and when it hit him, took him down in one shot. I swear for the life of me, that there are currently are no man-made weapons that can shoot flashing light, not to mention being able to take down a decepticon in one hit. I should now bring into attention that there are theories that creating directed-energy weapons were always high on their 'to-do' list.
There is lots of information I'm sure you can find on the internet, but the majority of it -I'm quite sure- is worthless. The one thing I can tell you is that the place is heavily guarded, and they're not shy to post huge signs claiming that you'll get shot if you pass the perimeter.
