What a great family film!
"Hook" is a wonderful family film filled with strong performances by some very talented actors: Robin Williams and Dustin Hoffman. Not gonna lie, I got a little emotional at some parts, but I also get emotional when I watch "Peter Pan" because growing up is just not that much fun! I also am known to cry during most family films...especially animated ones like "The Little Mermaid" and "The Lion King".
But there is some disturbing imagery in that film...the mermaids macking on Robin Williams? Gross...the daffodils sniffing Robin's nether regions...double gross! How about the fat kid that pulls his legs straight up PAST his head and rolls around knocking down pirates? Extremely unsettling and disturbing...
