Since Nelson Mandela I see nothing surprising in a Black president of a country with huge White population. Though I preferred somebody with true American heritage, somebody from the tribes of native inhabitants of America. In that case I would be really glad and surprised.
Obama, Clinton, McCain - whatever difference we can find in their position the main idea is the same, because such people belong to a quite restricted group of people who are really able to come to power. And I don’t think that that any of them would try to help Indians.
