Snow two days ago that caused all sorts of drama as it started around 8am just as we drove to school and soon closed roads and caused spin outs and we all tried predicting when it could turn to rain (which never happened). I love my Subaru which brought me home without one slip.
Next day was a snow day. Hurrah!
And today was supposed to be rainy melting the snow except the cold air never left so all that rain fell as snow and the high school closed early and calls went out to pick up students as soon as possible. The road is white once again.
In this town, snow is an event that dumps twice, maybe four times a year, usually overnight with that mystical wonderland transformation, shutting down schools and roads, inspiring sledding and wild play. People drive sporty cars which they try to force up curvy backroads through sheer will only to end up sideways and stuck. Plows are strapped to the front of backhoes. We are familiar with snow, but not prepared at all.
Probably another snow day tomorrow. More snow angels for sure. Hurrah!
As for writing this month . . . phew . . . not much to say about that.
