These shoes aren't made for walking, but I still did.

The chest of drawers I saw in HousingWorks (thrift store) was sold. Oh well. I suppose it was for the best. I was really nice though and pretty good condition. Ask Michelle for a 2nd opinion for nothing. However I scored a pair of brown platform wedges for 7.50
(before all this I checked out the thrift store by my apartment. So cute! They had earrings made out of tiny mahjong tiles. Also saw a potential bookshelf. THere was also vintage wash basin frame)
Went to the Met after to check out American Women exhibit. It was okay, but it was really crowded. And then I found out another exhibit was already closed. However I found a bunch of decorative art exhibits. Have I told people that I'm a big fan of Victorian/Rococo furniture? So decadent, but still functional. Then decided to walk down 5th Ave.....and kept going until I reached Times Sq.
My outfit for the day.
I like how the sugar bowl is made out of a shell. :D
A wig cabinet
The manly armoire.
I also am a fan of Chinoiserie.
If I could own this vanity/work table.
If only camels actually looked like this.
upright harpsichord
Pianoforte. <3
Apparently it's a spinet and a desk/vanity table
Harpsichord mural panel.
Why yes, I'd love to play one a gold-plated harpsichord.
Rococo Revival room
I hope they are getting bonuses for dressing like this.
I really avoid Juicy Couture, but that may change if they have caplets. And those guys gave me a 50$ off coupon.
This was awesome when I saw it. Too bad everyone else thought the same way. They also kept getting in my shot. I'm curious if it's place exactly in the spot that this scene occurred.
