Both days were so quiet, there wasn't a lot of point to having separate posts. I netsurfed, I read a bit (having found an interesting long SSHG fic I hadn't read before, plus an
hd_career_fair fic from 09 I should have read long ago, because it's good: :

When the Clocks Stopped), I kept warm.
Friday I did the washing (thank you,
fluffyllama!). This will see me through most of my remaining time in the UK, but I'll need to wash a few things to have clean clothes to travel home in.
Thursday the weather was intermittently sunny, though cool; Friday was dull and surprisingly chilly, meriting an extra layer. (Saturday is lovely and sunny with clear skies - so far.)
You know that AO3 hits meme? I did that in Manchester, though I didn't post the results, so as to have a basis for comparison when it comes around next year. My stuff hasn't been there for anything like a full year yet (and I still have to post all of my slash fics to AO3).
One thing I was very glad about in Manchester, which I should record before I forget, was that I had one of the better rooms in my pub. When I saw them, some of the alternatives were poky (just a bit bigger than a double bed), and even wardrobeless, and didn't have my lovely radiator, or lamp, or armchair, and they all looked onto the unsavoury gap between buildings, whereas mine had a street view. Here's making a note that room no 9 (even if on the second floor) is the goods.
