well updating on Vacation... so far I mean
today was really really cool.. actually... it was 80 degrees but it was very cool. I hung out with the family in Chinatown today.. yes hungout. I was wearing capris and the cute brown-ish shirt with an Arabic looking design on it.. I looked really cute [for once] today. Well, we went to Chinatown to get pictures for our Chinese Visas and me looking cute and all... was a good plus. Then, after taking the pictures, we had 20 minutes to kill before picking the pictures up. So we went out to eat. Momie, Albert, and Alex went to eat at a Vietnamese Resturant while Dadie and I went to more of a laid-back-in-the-alley resturant called "Wai Wai's Resturant" the name might sound funny to you but the food is yummy [one of my favorites]. After eating a plate of rice, pork, chicken, and vegetables.. Dadie and I went to find the other three. It turns out that they were still eating so Dadie and I went to a Bakery/Drink/Noodle store and he bought ice-coffee and a package of already steamed/cooked shrimp noodles and I bought ice-lemon tea. We sat outside and ate. Dadie told me to put all the hot sauce in but what he didn't know was that it was really spicy. But it wasn't really bad for me because I can handle the spicyness. After eating the noodles and sipping our drinks, we decided to go and walk down the street. There we sat on the ledge of a building and watched the Boston Sewer Company un-plug sewer drains. It was funny and there is a HUGE clamp that is attached onto a pole and it goes down and grabs what ever funky stuff is down there. Well, sewage stuff is smelly and today was 80 degrees and a tad humid.. but it didn't smell.. don't worry.. it was funny to watch. Then a woman with her kids came up and asked in mandarin "Guangdong zai nar?.. Ni zhidao ma?" and I actually understood her she said "where is guangdong (she meant the agency) do you know?" wow.. Chinese class is really paying off.. I could carry on a 5-10 minute conversation with my professor now! before I was really hesitant but now I can respond like I would in English- it kind of freaked me out a bit.. but it was a good freaky. Then Dadie and I just kept watching the african-american driver manipulate the clamp and this old lady [lao ren] walked pass me and looked at me with eyes of disgust. I then looked at myself [clothes-wise] and saw nothing. My shirt was up to my neck and it wasn't slutty or anything and my capris weren't even tight.
Any who, the other three showed up after eating and then we had to cross the street to get to our destination..I crossed right infront of a car and apparently.. I could feel someone looking at me.. I turn around and a guy.. around the age of 20 was looking at me with awe and delight.. and then I just ran lol he was slowly driving and people beeped at him haha!! twas funny. Afterwards, we went to get our pictures... and mine was nice.. I didn't look high!!! All of my pictures this year [including my school picture] sucked. I was very glad this one was nice! I'll show you guys if you want to see it. Then we went to apply for Chinese Visas and my Dadie got a hair cut.
I'm leaving to China like July 7th or 8th I don't remember and coming back August 12th then my birthday is September 5th and that is on a Monday nextyear.. wow.. I'm going to be busy.. maybe I'll throw a party or maybe not because noone will come.. its too close to the beginning of school and its really stressful then.. well I guess thats it..
love Leng!!
