The best place I have visited
Нам по английскому дали задание написать небольшое сочинение на тему "The best place I have visited". Первое, о чем подумала - это была Индия.. Правда, получился очень простой текст, я не писала подобные задания со школы.. Но написание его вдохновило меня написать отчетик о нашей поездке.. Я обязательно его напишу.. А эти строки пусть будут для разогрева... :-))))
The best place I have visited - India
India is a very beautiful, interesting and exotic country with incredible culture and history.
But there are a lot of poor people who sleep directly on the street. At the same time they are very kind and friendly. It`s another civilization for us.
I and my friends visited India in May. We had only 7 days for this journey. We started from Mumbai (former Bombay). It`s the biggest city in India where live 15 million people. Also it`s a financial heart of India.
After that we went to Jaipur - a pink city where there are a lot of beautiful palaces and forts.
Then we were in Agra where is situated the famous Taj Mahal - one of the world`s wonders. This palace is more beautiful than on photos.
Next point of our traveling was Varanasi near famous river Ganga. It`s the most religious city in India where Indians went to swim in the river and to die. Near this city is situated Sarnath - a city of Buddhist temples.
The last point of our journey was Delhi. It has two parts - Old Delhi and New Delhi. For me the most interesting sightseeing in Delhi was Lotos temple.
India is not country for everyone. But if you really like it you`ll come here more and more.
I`m going to visit it next year.
