I made this first post in a weird mood. I was picturing the thousands of teenyboppers with their 133t writing style and shorthand (omg! rofl! lol!) that populate this site finding my journal. I wanted to kind of shock them or intrigue them and maybe open their eyes to the world around them. But after I made this first post, I realized that no self-respecting teenybopper would dare visit a site called "the secret ministry of frost," a title stolen from Coleridge.
However, this new space felt like a new beginning, and it did sort of inspire me to write. So I gave up on the teenybopper redemption plan and decided to post some feelings that were important to me, figuring few people except my friends would read them.
But I've taken your hint, and I will not abandon my old journal. In fact, just this moment I've aquired Renee's permission to post the first ever picture of her in my old journal. I've got a great one of her and William that will be perfect.
