YES!! :) :)

What a wonderful huge breath just whooshed out of me, as my face cracked a wide grin! I am so very, very thankful to hear this fantastic news of prayers answered.

Sweetie, I bet you're thinking to yourself "We should celebrate... but I'm so drained." Aren't you?

Renee... Hope they've given you a way to deal with the symptoms, darlin. And I hope you know you're in the middle of a crushing hug right now. No, seriously. Crushing. I'm hugging your husband like mad, but you're in the middle. :)

I just realized what word I was looking for when I wrote my comment to you, in that other post. I said that our purpose was to find what you have. That thing you have... it's love. Yes, we knew that. But there's love, and then there is love that humbles us all the way to our knees - which is what you have. THAT is our purpose. To find ourselves humbled.

I believe this past week was a case in point, no? This is what tells me that you are definitely on the right path, even if you sometimes feel blind and scared. And it is the job of good friends, true friends, to echo back to you, right? To let you know when you're on the path and doing fine...and when you're not. Therein lies the truest test of friendship. If you want to know if your friend is true, is trustworthy, there is a simple way to find out.

Smear a black mark on your face. Let a little food get caught between your front teeth. Put on a pair of pants that has a hole in the rear. Greet your friend, as you're all about to walk out the door and into public. A true friend will tell you that you're about to embarrass yourself...that you're making a mistake that you can't see.

If they can't bring themselves to tell you you have a hole in your pants, they'll never be able to tell you when you're stepping off the path.

And I just digressed horribly, didn't I? I'm sorry. It just sort of hit me, what it was I wanted to say before...and then I rambled.

Back to the celebration! Renee is okay! :)

Now I want you two to go dance in the moonlight. It is a beautiful, beautiful night.

Love always,
Gypsy
