drag me down again, it's hard to be your scar

Have I mentioned in here how much I miss American Hi-Fi because I really do. They were so much fun live and both their CDs are pretty good. I remember the first time I saw them it was like January of 2001 and it was at the Roxy. They were touring with SR-71 who we got there really early to see so Torie could stalk them. We froze our asses off. I seriously think some of us got hypothermia that day. By the time we got in and up front it was soon time for American Hi-Fi. I remember they were so good they made me forget about being completely numb due to the cold. After that I saw them with Our Lady Peace and a few other times. It was so much fun and so great every time.
OK enough about rambling about the past. I guess I should update about today. I really didn't do a whole terribly lot. Derek and I went to see the Day After Tomorrow which was actually a whole lot better than what I thought it would be. We also went to the dollar movie theater so he could see Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I loved it even the second time around. That's pretty surprising to me.
Once I got home I came home and made cookies. That was my night leaving out a few minor details.
