Long Winded Post brought on by too much egg nog...
Hello Hello Hello.
Well, i do get kick by spreading the latest lj journal survey plague; but i think its high time i've provided an update of substance. Of course there has been many relevant and important things that have occurred since I've posted but most of that material is either played out or too much of a hassle to rehash. So I'll do a 5 second recap.
Fire Engine driving. Learned to drive a stick. Hiked a huge chain saw up a hill. Dad about to remarry next March. Went to see Foo Fighters, Weezer, Alien Ant Farm, and Warped Tour. Celebrated our first anniversary. Celebrated our first anniversary (Yes, i said it twice). Went where my car could take us safely.Saw a whole mess of movies. Ate too much wasabi. Learned to appreciate spring rolls. Went to the city of sin. Drank girly drinks. Ran a half marathon at Big Sur. Helping Mom get used to a life without my Dad. Proof read Sara's writing at BC (she got all A's on her papers) And most importantly, the small incidental things shared with Sara that no one other than us would get.
Its the holidays (capt. obvious i am, obviously) and things have reached their natural ebb and flow. I don't know how many people say this, but its nice to be unemployed (well maybe those who are unemployed by the government agree). These past two weeks has been nice thing to come back too- real nice, i mean i never felt this comfortable for so long with my life. Sara has a lot to do with it and i really like what i do fo a living. Yeah i wish i made more money (mike vigil like money) but those things will come- however eventually it may seem. All and All, i feel very blessed. I have my health and health care.( I just saw a news special on tv) I know i have long to go- i want a better job, a house and a newer car and all of that jazz but i'm happy in the mean time. O course maybe x-mas has me thinking like this- but i think this break i'm having is really letting me realized that i have it good- A patient and kind (and really sexy) girlfriend, loving parents, some good new friends and the old ones.
Well, i better get off my soap box and get back to that patient girlfriend of mine who is bored and finished counting the presents for the second time. Marry Christmas y'all.
