Things accomplished in fiction: Ooh getting more of the drive behind the antagonist, and questions and loose threads are starting to close up. Still have to figure out what the final catch is going to be though, though I do have a few ideas in mind!
Things accomplished in real life: Lots of crazy shit happened this weekend. Wanted to go get groceries on Sunday, but my car wouldn't start. The starter lights just blinked, and the car wouldn't make any noise. No whirring or anything. So then I got it jumped off with my Dad & Kelley and decided to drive to Walmart to get a battery (the only place around that's open on a Sunday that'll replace batteries). So about 1/2 way there the car randomly stalls out and I have to pull it over on the side of the road. Luckily (a)it's not a busy road, (b)it's sunny, (c)it was Sunday, and (d)I had friends/family ready and willing to help me come jump it off. So overall, it could've been a *lot* worse.
Got the battery changed, and everything looked good after that. Still though that midway stall bugged me, so I took off half a day today and took it by the dealership. Turns out that an error code in the computer matched up with my story and apparently the error was from the computer. So since my car is at 74k miles and the warranty for that piece lasts until 80k miles, they replaced it no charge. :) Damn what a lucky situation, eh??
*Whew* so yea, no writing was done yesterday. However, I tried to make up for that today. =)
Other:
Home improvements are underway! Got new lighting for the dining room and kitchenette. As yet they still have to be changed. And we got hinges and doorknobs to replace the gaudy gold that is everywhere in this house. Looks so much cooler that way! Oh and the undercabinet lighting we put in the kitchen looks so fabulous! They're LEDs so they don't get hot and don't use a lot of energy. Feels like we have a professional kitchen now!
