Keeping track of my progress
So thanks to cmpriest's site, I found this handy, dandy word meter. It helps you keep track of how many words you've written in comparison to your target word amount. Pretty useful for long writing projects, and I think it'll help me stay motivated as I try to switch over to a longer writing style. =)
So far, for the Queenie fic I'm working on (title unknown at this point):
Taken from Writertopia if you're interested in trying it out. Now I know that word count isn't all that matters, but it sure is helpful to see how far along I am in the percentage there. Makes me feel like I can actually finish this thing. =D
In other news, for the first time ever I'm looking around at areas where I could submit some original work. I'm thinking once I finish this Big Bang submission, I might try to actually publish something with original characters for once. =)
