So its been an interesting week to say the least, with much confusion and uncertainty in the air, but I think everybody's held up okay. Over the weekend one hell of a tornado hit Atlanta (or I should say like 14 tornadoes if the reports are correct). It was kind of weird coming into work today because based on the news reports I thought most of the buildings would be decimated, but although I did see a few of the taller buildings missing windows, most of them appeared fine. I guess this is partly due to the fact that I only come into a small section of Atlanta each week. Luckily, the areas I frequent were unharmed by the tornadoes, though I did get the emergency bulletin sent to my cell Friday night. Had to send texts to my friends in the city to make sure everything was alright. My mom ended up sleeping through the entire ordeal. =P
So far, my Spring Break has been very relaxing. Finally got my emissions test taken care of yesterday and had an awesome dish of minestrone courtesy of
mistress_kabuki. I felt like crap over the weekend, mostly recovering from a busy semester thus far, so I ended up playing a bunch on Guild Wars and Sims 2. Very fun, indeed!
Still, I have gaming assignments for over Spring Break that I need to work on. Getting another interview for my City of Heroes project is my priority and of course playing on Second Life and creating some type of object. I have no clue what all that involves, but I suppose I'll be finding out soon.
Oh! And
mistress_kabuki and I have been trading ideas for Weekend Detention back and forth, so we're hoping to churn out another chapter after she meets about her thesis this week. Yeah, she's been stressing like crazy about it all semester long. =)
