(no subject)
It's COLD!!!
Well, not that cold...but definitely getting chilly enough at night that I need to dig the comforter out of the closet and start sleeping under it instead of just sheets and a blanket. Probably why I'm still sick, actually...
The helicopter is starting to go back together in bits and pieces- I reassembled the main rotor head on Thursday, so as soon as we get our main rotor mast assembly back from overhaul we can install it back onto the transmission gearbox, slap the rotor head on and put the whole thing back on the helicopter. That'll be our first major piece of visual progress.
I have a short list of chores to do this weekend (among them a haircut appointment this afternoon so I can stop rockin' the sheepdog look) and I need to figure out what to make for a co-worker's barbecue next weekend. I put myself in charge of dessert, so some baking is definitely on the agenda this weekend! I'm thinking brownies, cookies, possibly a cake or possibly the choclate mousse pie again....we'll see. But I'm so excited to bake!! It's no fun in the summer when the apartment gets really warm, but now that it's starting to cool off, I can't wait! I've got a bunch of new recipes I want to try.
