(no subject)
So, on Sunday we went to Taste Of Chaos. We won the meet & greet (well, officially Rima did) with Taking Back Sunday. check out what we did to win this XD
We took the train to Brussels around 12.55 pm. I was so so nervous, I was feeling sick :/ I didn't eat much in the morning, like one bowl of Special K, and that's how I went through the day really, because I didn't think about eating. Arriving in Brussels, we tried to find the AB (the venue) ourselves (last time Fia was there to guide us) but then we decided to walk around and see if TBS was walking around or something. Then we wanted to go to the venue, I think we took a wrong turn or something, cause we couldn't really find it, lol. Um, Rima wanted to go to the Party Shop (halloweenish stuff) so in we went. And then we tried to find out where we were.
We ended up bumping into Brigitte and her cameraguy. We talked some, we found out the AB was around the corner, go Rima's orientation skillz. Then Brigitte told us she had a problem. Her cameraguy (well, one of her cameramen) had to leave so he couldn't help her during the Taking Back Sunday interview, and she asked Rima if she could hold the camera instead, you should've seen Rima's face, it was priceless. She wasn't sure, she looked quite scared.
Um so we were just talking, when some guy crosses the street. I was all "I know that guy..." then I looked better, and it was Mark from Taking Back Sunday, so I nudge Rima and point. She's all "...Mark" haha, so we went and talked to him for a bit. It was a pretty random conversation. We were talking about people hating Americans and stuff, I talked about my dad and his dislike for the government and the Americans at work, so Mark asks (looking quite amused for some reason) "What does your dad do?" and I pretty much made a "O.o" face and asked Rima; "What does my dad do?" haha, my mind was blank.
Anyway, moving on, some French girls joined us, which was cool. The one girl's English was pretty good, Mark also told her that when she apologized, I was all "Awww" :P Brigitte came by a couple of times grinning at us, saying hi to Mark (he remembered her from last year) and then she asked Rima again (she also had this huge grin on her face, haha) and I told her not to worry about me, cuz I was going to be fiiiine, and she should go and take this chance, because HELLO. So then she went :D
I talked to the French girls when she was gone, it was nice. They listened to a lot of music I loved. They love My Chemical Romance, and they're one of the first people I met who know what I'm talking about when I just ramble on about some interview or something, it was quite funny.
Charlotte (at least that's what I think it was): So, is Frank married or is engaged?
Me: Engaged as far as I know!
C: Oh, see, a friend told me he was already married and I was so confused! Isn't Mikey engaged to that girl who played bass for From First To Last?
Me: Yeah... Alicia
C: Oh, you don't like her?
Me: XD I didn't say anything!
I just thought it a funny random conversation.
Rima got back, cheeks all red and grinning. She forgot to switch to English, so she was just rambling in Dutch, the two girls staring at us XD She gave 'em the chocolates we bought the day before :D
We waited until we could get inside and stuff, some Belgian band got announced. Forgot their name XD Then we went inside, went to the left, cuz we were on the guestlist. And then we got in, found ourselves a locker, and took seats, because we had to leave at 7 pm for the Meet & Greet anyway.
I'm going to do this in two parts, because the screen is hurting my eyes and such...
