Needing Time
I really don't have time to do anything. *sighs* And I'm exhausted.
Let's start from the beginning. This week has been full of things to do.
Anyway, I'm alive. *coughs* Well, sort of. XD
On Friday I had the exam at Conservatory and it should have started at 12.00 a.m. but obviously I had to wait 5 hours for my turn. (Yeah, FIVE hours). An odyssey.
And I wasn't so relaxed as I thought I would be. lol
However, my voice was lower that usual but my piano accompanist told me I was in tune. Of course I'm not 100% satisfied, but I can't complain too much. It could be worse! XD
We were in 21 and the board of examiners will pick only 3 of us. Difficult, isn't it? XD
Oh, and I've realized (but I've already known it) that my voice is too characteristic to be adapted to our Italian tradition of Lyrical Opera, which actually favours composers from 1800 on; I'm "perfect" for Baroque songs and not at all for Verdi's ones. So my possibilities to be picked are even less. ;_;
I think I'll have the results in the following days! My fingers are still crossed! ^^
Concerning University, professors are too fast. *cries* I can follow Analysis pretty much, but Geometry...O_O She is going on with matrixes and there are too many demonstrations I can't absorb immediatly. And I have lots of exercises to do, but, as I said before, I have NO time!
I hope that now that the exam is gone, I can concentrate on my studies. XD
I'm posting a beautiful performance of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" by Katherine McPhee. I almost cried when I saw it for the first time and everythime that I listen to this particular version of the song I have goosebumps. I swear! *_*
