Hmm, well, I've made it to the East finally.
That said, my mind and body are still geared towards the old time zone. I don't feel sick like I did getting in from Japan, but it's still hard to get thorugh a day when you're brain refuses to properly wake itself up before noon. It's geting better though, and will, I believe I do need to get out though. The past couple evening have been spent putzing aorund my room, because by six or seven I'm exhausted. I slept for a couple hours after dinner today though, so I'm feeling a bit better and about to make some nice strong tea with the sweet sweet caffiene of the awaking and the bouncyness of the stimulants. Yeah.

The school here isn't too big, theres only about 12,000 students or something along those lines I'm told. I did find out today that my Friday class will be outside if the weather holds, as there's a serious shortage of classrooms. For a first day it was tolerable, I got to class at 9, with my head screaming to goback to bed because the world was ending. I don't think the reptilian hind-brain thought it was late enough for the sun to be peaking, much less fully risen. The Monday morning class I'm hoping to get a pardon for, as I've taken a couple first year english courses already and would prefer not to take another. Cross your fingers for me eh?
Other than school not too much has been going on. The schools given me three free meals and four backs of random free junk so far, it's not bad junk though. I came out with some snacks, a thermos mug and some body gel and spray that smells like boy. Not bad swag when you get down to it, and a good price. I'm also told there's another free dinner on wednesday and hey, who turns down free food?

Other than that, I got a monitor obviously. After gettign on the wrong bus, finding out the place I was sent to no loner sells monitors, and wandering around blindly for a bit, I made it to a computer refurb shop and got myself a nice little 17" flatscreen crt. Nice screen for the money, but the store didn't have boxes. Between walking to the bus stop, getting on the wrong bus (not really wrong, just didn't get me quit as close to school. But it did save me having to transfer) And walking to my room, I must have carried the beast three blocks. That was Saturday though, so the arms are feeling better.

As a side note, I went to community college before and it was small, quiet, with about half the students coming back to school after lives spent working all that. This college is filled mostly with studetns straight out of highschool..and it feels like it. Especially the guys *shudders* I've now changed my plan from 'make friends with everyone you can' to 'be civil'. Ehhh, most people I've met here are genuinely nice people, only one group was looking for a..ermm..different kind of girl.
