So, on to the real update
There was a serious lack of crazy people at the pool tonight, for which I'm grateful. Crazies and kids both love to talk to me >.<
On the kids not, My nephew fell down the stairs last week..a good thing babies bounce.
He came out alright..down nine steep stairs with only a couple scratches. But hey..I fell off plenty of things and just..umm, bad example.
But..as we were leaving, m' mom was talking to her coworker and, seeing an add for a lifesaving course I pointed up at it "hey look, they have real dummies now"
Being that a guy had just come out of the changeroom, I got a hissed "Don't talk about the customers like that"
I think she was still weirded out by the albino thing.
Finished three books of late (I'm not including Antony and Cleopatra. The Romans were a fucked up bunch according the Shakes)
Mr. Summer's story was endearing and..god, so true
The Eighth Sin was surprisingly not a crime story..but it was about a gypsy and a murder, so it was all good.
Also dealt with WWII and the genocide commited against the gypsies in the camps.
The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay was definitely amazing. I now have this great urge to go out and buy some old-time comics. I doubt anyone I described it too understood my muttered fanatical ramblings, but thats okay, its more than worth the read.
What else? oooo..all my teachers keep giving me unannounced extensions on things and..and..I hate Elizabeth's speech at Tilbury, if only because its so good
