It's been a hell of a year for me, so this year's Christmas Serge icon shows the great French musician heading into his long, slow decline, Gitane cigarette in hand, hunched forward, sliding into oblivion. Wow, the guitar riff from the En Melody is almost exactly the same as the jingle for Hanes underwear. "Wait till we get our Hanes on you." Check it out. Disturbing.

Yeah, I've done a pretty shitty job of keeping this blog updated lately. Not entirely sure why, but overwork and over-travel has a lot to do with it.

I will likely post a bit about what I saw on my various trips in the next couple of weeks, including some thoughts about the Winchester Mystery House and my visit for the World Fantasy Convention.
