due to weather & swell and a day spent counting slugs (for SCIENCE) and not photographing them, I didn't have so much time with the camera in the tidepools this month. Still, I got to turn the new lens on the small animals... Meet Dirona picta ... not as showy as some of the nudibranchs out there, but fantasticaly iridescent & camouflagey & transparent:
