Dear Livejournal, we had our first of six puppy training classes tonight out at Petsmart and already we're feeling a lot better about things.  There were some interesting fellow 'classmates' for Bilbo to meet.  There's the very classy Rough Collie named Beezer who's going to grow up looking like lassie.  Then we have the Golden Retriever named Soul or Sole or Seol who looks like a teddy bear.  Finally, there's the Yorkie/Shih-tsu mix called Tika who resembles nothing as much as a baby ewok.  Bilbo won the prize for most obnoxious but Tika did give him a run for his money.  We are armed now with a clicker, a new leash and a few skills which should break the animal inside him and make him ever more closer to being our obedient slave.  Needless to say, Rachel does not like the relish I'm taking from some parts of this class.  Other than that, there's not much else to report.  Rachel has grown enamored of my Kindle so we are now getting a second so that's fun.  Next week Simian Showcase goes up so I need to get into gear for that.  More news as it follows.
