Rarely see much made-for-TV material these days but glad I made an exception for the remarkable series 'Slings and Arrows'. I knew I was going to have a rough time with the Lear episodes the moment I realised how much the actor playing him looked like my dad.
I'm totally gutted right now, but in a good ,cathartic way. Guess that's what theatre is supposed to do, or so some old Greek used to say.....
