To Lowes and Back

When I originally started this journey, i didn't have money to spend. Almost at all, so I bought the cheapest kind of chicken fence i could get my hands on, which turned out to be this terribly hard to handle plastic stuff. I couldn't figure out a good way to keep it in place so my chicken run hasn't been completed.

Which means I've been free ranging them and keeping my poor dog in the front yard. Well the damn dog figured out how to jump our 4.5 ft high white picket fence! So I can't leave him out front anymore. Which means I need high tail it on this chicken run. So I did what any sensible farmer would do I went out and bought the right stuff, the heavy duty poultry wire.

I made a gate to my garden and covered it with the wire. I put in the stepping stones around my chicken coop so I don't have to find shoes first thing in the AM when I let them out. And I put in the final posts for my garden, now all I have to do is run wire around the one side. But the wire running around that door took forever and I have a terrible headache. I think I'm gonna just watch some TV and maybe get around to it when the Tylenol kicks in.
