Doing my research proposal for 550 on censorship. Haven't narrowed the topic down any further than that; probably censorship and YA collections since that seems to be both the most heavily studied and controversial area, plus I'll be able to draw in some stuff on graphic novels without scraping around for sources (since there aren't many). but the annotated bibliography part is done and turned in--go me!
I've never done a literature review. Thank God we don't actually have to do a study; I'm not a social sciences person and all the jargon we have to learn for this class is making me crazy. Paleo-anthropology? Sure. Sociology in modern times? Not so much. Interesting to read; not to do.
Flying home Thursday night/Friday morning. Hope I hear back from the bookstore Thursday so I can hurry up and make my return plans; everything's up in the air right now and getting tickets so late in the game is going to be expensive.
