you spread yourself like a pentitent upon the mad vibrating sand

Osiris and Black Kali are both finished and up on my deviantArt page.  I'm not sure who to do next.  I still want to make Hel, and Persephone, and Hades, but lately I've had a line from TS Eliot's "The Wasteland" stuck in my head:  "consider Phlebas, who was once as handsome and brave as you."  So maybe I'll do the drowned Phoenician sailor instead.  I just need some pearls to make his eyes.

In all honesty I've actually had multiple lines from "The Wasteland" spiraling around in the old brainbox, interspersed with lyrics from Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.  The atmospheres of the poem and the music go surprisingly well together.

lyrics, art, dolls, poetry, real life
